Henry came back to NTCR after being adopted 3 years ago as a baby. His mom became very sick and was in the hospital for quite a while. Unfortunately, she can no longer care for him so he was returned to us. He's long, lean, leggy and muscular, which tends to be a characteristic of Oriental Short Hairs and Siamese. He's got a TON of personality...also true of those breeds. He's very sweet and affectionate. But, he's extremely active and playful. He loves to be up high...on top of cabinets, in high windows, the tall cat trees, anywhere that he can get a "bird's eye view" of the world. He's exceptionally curious and wants to be where his people are or see what's on the other side of the door...any door. In other words, Henry is extremely nosy and likes to investigate doors so he has to be watched when doors are opened/closed because he will run to see where that open door leads. Because of his innate curiosity, he needs a home without young children since they tend to leave doors open, which would be an invitation for Henry to succumb to his wanderlust. Henry has excellent litter box manner; however, he needs a large, covered litter box. He also has excellent scratching post manners.
