We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Whiskey is ready to find his forever home! He has 2 siblings, but he does not have to be adopted with them. He does, however, need a kitty friend to snuggle with in his forever home. (If you're interested in his siblings, they are Skye & Peychaud, but they need to be adopted together.) Whiskey and his family  were all dumped outside where a really nice lady trapped them and had them fixed. Thankfully, we were able to help and got them inside before a cold front hit. Whiskey is very sweet, but shy at first. He has adjusted really well to being indoors only. He has excellent litter box manners and uses a scratching post well. Whiskey was definitely someone’s pets at one time, but for some unknown reason, they were dumped and left to fend for themselves. They are great with other cats and are tolerant of dogs. As he likes to give "love bites" wedo not believe they will do well in a home with small children and he prefers a quiet environment.  If you’re interested in meeting him, please fill out an application on NTCR’s website.
