Mimosa has the most wonderful personality. She is very calm and laid back. She needs a forever person who will give her space and time to settle in. She is a cat used to going outside; however, being front declawed, she cannot do that any longer. The best option for her is to have a home with a catio or sunroom where she can be “outside” and safely inside at the same time.
When she looks at you with her gorgeous, big, round eyes, she can melt your heart. She was previously front paw declawed. In 2022, she was violently attacked by a dog and while she is healed, her tail had to be amputated due to damage done during the attack. She is curious about other kitties and with slow and proper introductions, she will likely be fine. Of course, she would be very happy to be the queen of your castle! Mimosa is playful and loves to run and play. Her favorite toys are fuzzy mice. She finds cabinet doors very interesting and may try to open them. She is also very happy to snooze on the back of a sofa or chair. Mimosa loves food and will eat all the time if allowed/free fed so we’ve adjusted her eating schedule to feeding her twice a day. No dogs, no young children in Mimosa’s forever home. While Mimosa will not be attending adoption events because of the number of dogs that like to visit the cats but her foster mom is more than happy to set up a meet and greet with potential adopters. Please Fill out an application on our website and we will contact you to set up an appointment.
