Attention NTCR Community We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hi I'm Tao!
My siblings and I were at a shelter for a long time before foster mom rescued us and now I'm so happy! I'm the first one of my siblings to come up to you and ask for pets and I will purr purr purr. I'm an easy going guy who likes to play with my siblings and foster brother, but I love to cuddle with my human as well as with my siblings. I like to chill with my human when she's sitting still because then I can cuddle the most! I like to play chase, wrestle and bat around toys. Although I'm old enough to be adopted alone, I would do best with a friend or a sibling.
I have great litter box and scratching post manners and I would do well in a home with kids and pets, although I've not been in a home with a dog before.
Do you think I would make a great addition to your family? l would love to meet you and show you my amazing purr and give you loves.
