Honey is high energy and high love. If she’s not playing with toys or other cats in her foster home, she wants to be held and cuddled. She wants ALL THE CUDDLES!! If the people in her forever home are not at home during the day, Honey needs a young cat friend to keep her company. She loves to burrow under blankets and sheets and behind pillows. She is constantly under foot so her forever home really needs to be a home that wants a “Velcro” cat. Honey came to us from a local shelter as an owner surrender. While we don’t know what her life was like with this home, we can guess that she did not have a steady diet or good food based on her lack-luster coat and how very thin she was. Now that she’s on good food and a steady diet, her coat is getting pretty and she’s gained much needed weight. She is very food motivated and wants whatever the humans are eating...and it truly doesn't matter what is on the menu. While we're working on redirecting this behavior, her forever home will need to continue the effort. Honey is a petite cat and our vet estimated her to be around a year old. Based on her size and level of activity, I (foster mom) would say she’s under a year – maybe 7-9 months old. If you’re interested in Honey, please fill out an application and NTCR will be in touch!
