Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.

For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for understanding and supporting our mission!

Houser was found as a starving little stray in a neighborhood.  He let his finders know that a warm bed and food were just what he needed.  He's an affectionate guy with a purr that you can hear from a distance.  He likes to be picked up and informs you with a loud purr and lean into you as soon as you do. He loves his toys and his human, cat, and dog friends. Houser would probably be great with kids as he doesn't shy or run away from anyone. He has lots of energy for play and would do best with another cat or dog to play with. He has great litter box manners and is OK with weekly nail trims.
