We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hi, my name is Gandalf! I was taken to a shelter in McKinney after getting hit by a car in a parking lot. I got some face lacerations and had a limp for a while. I used to be someone's pet, but no one came to claim me, so NTCR took me in so that I could recover. I am front declawed and have lots of super silky soft fur. I am a super sweet guy that loves to hang out next to the humans on the couch or the bed. I will nudge you with my head if I am not getting enough attention and purrr purrr purrr.
