We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hello! I'm Dahlia! I'm a sweet southern lady looking for a new place to call my own, I'm ready for a fresh start!

I spent my kitten-hood and young life on the streets and being a street cat I had many suitors and babies. Thankfully I was picked up by a city shelter and NTCR found me there, so all that is behind me now. I am ready to settle down and find some people to call my own. 

Some of my favorite things are people! I love to be petted and adored (like I should be!). I even like to be picked up, my foster mom carries me from window to window so I can make sure all is well in the neighborhood. 

My second love is catnip! I find it's best straight off the shrub or just a little dried out. Give me a twig of that and I will entertain a room with my silliness!
