Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.

For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for understanding and supporting our mission!

Hello!  I am Trick cause it's Halloween time and I'm ready to take on the world.  My momma and siblings and I came from Amarillo, where the shelter is small, to see if DFW might provide us with loving families.  We're all playful and fun loving kittens who enjoy having human slaves around very much.  A lap to curl up in for a nap is very nice after we run around, climb the cat trees, watch the birds out the window, wrestle and run some more.  Toys are a lot of fun - especially balls that I can roll and chase around and I like the ones that float in the air as I chase them - I think they are attached to humans but mostly I don't care about that as long as they move).  I'd like to have a home with playmates as I'm still learning how to be a well behaved cat but I like the scratching post and use the litter box well so I'm not a lot of trouble.  Do you have an extra spot for me?
