Hi there, I am Hortense. I came all the way from Amarillo. I was the adoring Mom of a couple of babies but I became very sick with a cold and had to be separated from them . Sadly, my little ones didn't survive. After a hard struggle to fight off that nasty cold I started to enjoy eating again and put some meat on my bones! I am a little "fluffier" now and in puuuurfect health. I am enjoying every second of my life, perched on the top of the cat tree or snuggled with Sambucca in the bed in front of the fireplace. Although I am an adult I totally love to run and play with the youngsters in my foster home. I would be a great companion to an elderly person or a child who needs lots of feline companionship.  I am litterbox trained and know how to use my scratcher.
