We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hi, my name is Sylvester. North Texas Cat Rescue saved my siblings and me from a shelter when we were just little babies. When I first went to live with my foster mom, I was so little I couldn't eat on my own yet, so she fed my siblings and me with a bottle till we were old enough to eat by ourselves. My siblings have found their forever homes, and now I am ready to find mine too. I am sweet and cuddly and full of fun. I get along great with the other kitties in my foster home, and with the human kitties too. I especially love the 8 year old human, boy, kitty. I use my litter box like a champ, and my scratching post too.
