We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

George is a big, sweet guy. He has a laid back personality, but is actually pretty playful. He loves attention and being petted. If I walk by, and he wants to be petted or scratched, he will reach out and paw at me to let me know he needs some attention. He shares his foster home with other cats, and seems to like everyone. So, he would be an excellent companion for a kitten or another cat. He loves to talk and we have lively conversations especially at treat/canned food time. The quickest way to George's heart is with food and belly rubs.He LOVES his belly rubbed, and will roll over on his back...much like a dog, so you can fully rub his belly. George has a luxated rib that sticks out a bit under his chest. There is nothing to be done for it and it does not bother him or impact his life/quality of life. We recently learned that George does not like dogs and would do best in a home without them. If you're interested in George, he's at the Allen Petsmart this week, go by and say "hi" to him. He LOVES the attention!!
