My name is Nanette and I am a gorgeous, shiny little house panther. I used to be a stray, wandering the streets in search of shelter and food, until I was taken in by the Garland Animal Shelter. It was there that I found out I was going to be a mother. I remember the day I gave birth to my only kitten, Ace. He was a small black ball of fluff and I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of love for him. However, as a young cat myself, I wasn't quite sure how to take care of him for too long. But I was determined to do my best for my little one. Two days after giving birth, North Texas Cat Rescue came to take me and Ace to a warm foster home. I was a bit nervous at first, not knowing what to expect, but as soon as I saw the cozy bed and tasty food, I knew we were in good hands. I was a good mother, always keeping a watchful eye on Ace and making sure he was fed and clean. But as the weeks went by, I started to grow restless. I couldn't produce enough milk for my growing baby and I was constantly tired. That's when the kind foster parents noticed and decided it was best for Ace to go to another foster home to a volunteer who could properly care for him. I was a bit sad to say goodbye to my kitten, but I knew it was for his own good. And I was relieved to know that he would be well taken care of by a human foster mom. Meanwhile, I stayed in my foster home, getting to know the other felines and enjoying the comfort and love of my foster Mom. I am a playful little lady, always ready for a game or a chase. But what I love most is food. I absolutely live for meal times, especially when it's wet food. I'll make sure to let you know when it's breakfast and dinner time, in case you forget. I am also quite acrobatic, despite my petite size. I love jumping and climbing, and I'm quite proud of my skills. I use my scratchers to keep my nails in check, but I'm also okay with a nice manicure from time to time. And now, here I am, waiting for my forever family to find me. I know I may not be a kitten anymore, but I have so much love to give. So what are you waiting for? Submit an adoption application and let's meet and get to know each other. I promise to be the best companion you could ever ask for.
