We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hugsy, one of our Amarillo travelers, earned his name the first day he came to us with an upper respiratory infection and not wanting to eat.  All he wants is to hug you when you walk in the room, then if you have food for him that's cool but don't forget to hang around for more snuggling.  His beautiful maine coon like looks set him apart from your average brown tabby cat too.  He's still full of kitten playfulness but has a calmness that got him through being sick to a healthy boy wanting his own family.  Do you have a place for him to snuggle?
